Professional Biography

Joseph D. Francis is co-founder and Managing Director of Process Core Group. Joe is the original author of the Process Chain reference model. He has worked with companies in different industries (high tech, chemical, retail, transportation, government, manufacturing, automotive).

Joe has 12 years experience in supply chain automation and processes. He directed the supply chain information systems merger planning in the HP/Compaq merger. Joe has been a valuable advisor to supply chain, automation and consulting executives around the globe.

Joe was a member of the board of directors of the supply-chain council from 2001 to 2004 and served as the chair of the board in 2003. He currently serves as the council's Chief Technology Officer. In that role he has roled out an extensive training program for SCOR practitioners. He is the author of the PCOR process reference model, the reference model describing how to manage process. He has published articles and speaks frequently on the benefits and application of process management.

Joe has lived and worked in France, The Netherlands and the US. He supports customers worldwide from Houston, TX.
